Network Marketing Tips – Gratitude is Attitude

So many are looking for that one tip… you know, the ‘secret’ to success. And I totally get it! I’ve certainly fallen into that thought pattern myself. For many years now, I’ve been a true student of our industry, Network Marketing and that has lead me to ‘study’ many, many, many highly successful Network Marketers. What I’ve learned is that although skills matter (and yes, they should be taught and learned) — what matters most is what’s between our ears; our thoughts! And that leads me to today’s topic, Network Marketing Tips.

The tip I’ve prepared for you today is one that was shared with me several years ago and has hugely impacted my life in many areas, creating more success in my personal life and in my Network Marketing business, too!

What is that Network Marketing Tip?

Gratitude is Attitude! Sounds simple, right? You are right… and it is so simple that it can be easy to miss.

Network Marketing Tips from a book I recently read…

If you’ve not read Vibrational Money Immerson “Think and Grow Rich For Network Marketers” by Ray Higdon, I’m going to recommend you get a copy and read it.

If you don’t have a copy, you can click here to grab the Kindle version

In Chapter 1; Thoughts Are Things, Ray begins with a quote from Dr. Michael Beckwith, “Pain pushes you until a vision pulls you.” Pretty powerful, wouldn’t you agree?

“Pain pushes you until a vision pulls you.” ~~ Dr. Beckwith

He then walks the reader through several important points, where he quotes from Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill (when appropriate) but from the prospective of a more modern day reader, which helps a ton! In the first chapter he makes points on these three areas noted below with clarity.

  1. Thoughts Are Things
  2. Assets For Your Benefit (my personal favorite)
  3. Self-Sabotage Through Negative Thinking

So, maybe you are saying, “Okay, this is all well and good… sounds interesting but what the heck does this have to do with Gratitude is an Attitude being one of your Network Marketing Tips, Kathy?” I hear ya! Just stick with me! We’re getting there…

Network Marketing Tips and the Connection to Gratitude

What I appreciated most about Ray’s book was that at the end of each chapter he gives the reader an assignment… which is much like my format here on my blog.

Daily reading is beneficial… heck, it’s necessary in my opinion for becoming a better version of you but reading (learning) without applying what you learn and putting it into A.C.T.I.O.N. is a waste of time!

99.9% of the time when things aren’t going in the direction we want them to be going, we’re struggling with a negative mindset. That’s truth… but it doesn’t have to be.

First, ACTION is a way to battle those negative, self-sabotaging thoughts.

Ray’s 1st assignment at the end of Chapter 1 is to take ACTION.

What action can you take? Talk to more people. Period. End of story. It’s the #1 activity that matter most. If you need more people to talk to, I have a blog post that will help; 6 Free Ways to Find Leads Online

And Ray’s #2 assignment is G.R.A.T.I.T.U.D.E.

I’m forever grateful for being introduced to the concept of consistently writing in my Gratitude Journal. This is a daily habit I was introduced to years ago and continue to do ‘almost’ on a daily basis.

Ray has us grab a pen and paper and write out 100 things we are grateful for. Like he says, if you are struggling, you might need to write these things out daily — yes, every single day. The list may not always be the same, it can change… in fact, it most likely will change. But his guarantee (and mine, as well) — YOU CAN NOT stay down if you write out 100 things you are grateful for every day!

To make it easy for you, I’ve provided a a printable “Gratitude is Attitude Worksheet” that you can download and make copies of.
