Just two weeks after I got married, my mother was killed in a car accident at only 41 years old. It was devastating and difficult, but it put life into perspective for me at a very young age. 

This unexpected event became my driving force to make the most of the precious time I’ve been given. It sent me on a quest to find ways to earn more so I could experience more in life. 

For me, experiencing more meant being fully present to raise my children rather than ever having to place them in daycare. I wanted to be their primary caregiver.

When I got married, I was working as a teacher, and my husband was a farmer. We took the money I inherited from my mother’s death to open a furniture store on the weekends.

But, this crazy decision allowed us to build our own business while working our day jobs, which we could eventually expand later - allowing us to be with the kids during the week once we started a family. 

When our first child was born, I quit teaching and my husband quit farming. We went all in on the furniture store full-time and brought our daughter to work with us. 

The business was very successful, but we sold it when our second child was born. Due to the complexities of small-town living and finding the right education for our daughter, we walked away from the business and relocated.

That’s when I decided to look into opportunities to work from home with a direct sales business.

I knew I didn’t want a boss nor did I want to be the boss, and I didn’t want employees - I desired to control my schedule and my calendar.

I started in direct sales with a home decor company. My knowledge from the furniture store paired well with this kind of business, and it grew quickly. As time progressed and I learned more about the industry, I decided to look into opportunities with other network marketing companies. Within just a few short years...


 


The income blew me away. 

However, what really surprised me was that I found I had a passion for leading and growing a team! A flood of women started asking for my help. They wanted to know how I achieved the level of success I had attained.
