10 Easy Ways to Reset for a New Month

To help you kick off the new month on the right foot, I've compiled 10 easy and effective ways to reset and get ready for a brand-new month. These tips will help you clear out the clutter, refocus your energy, and start the new month feeling refreshed and ready to go.

Steps to Reset for Your New Month:

Review and Reflect

Start by reviewing the past month by checking in on where you have your projects, in my case – that's Asana, and then review your calendar and planner. Ask yourself: What worked? What didn't? Assess your completed tasks, reflect on those achievements, and identify any areas for improvement.


Clear Your Workspace

Declutter both your physical and digital workspace. Organize files on Google Drive, clear all those saves to your desktop, and clear out all the unnecessary items from your desk. A clean space fosters a clear mind.


Update Your Goals

Make sure you have a system in place to review your Quarterly Goals and coincide those with your monthly goals. I’ve found doing this both in my planner and then with a spreadsheet works best… the two complement one another. My favorite planner is the Full Focus Planner. I’ll drop the link below for you.

Ensure you’re on track and make adjustments where needed!

Audit your marketing strategies. What can you improve? 
Update your campaigns based on the data from the past month.

Choose one new skill or topic to learn each month or a previous one that you want to uplevel in! Committing to continuous learning is important but implementation is key!


Streamline Processes

Identify any processes that can be streamlined or automated. Make adjustments in Asana to improve any workflows that feel off! My favorite line ever is, “Slow down to grow faster!”

Reach out to clients, colleagues, and mentors. Decide WHO and write their names down with a plan in place for when and how you will connect. Strengthening relationships is such an overlooked piece to long-term success.
